We will explore in-depth the 10 pillars of transformational parenting.
Understanding Our Need for Connection

Understanding Our Mindset & Mindsight
This session will be an opportunity to examine what is going through your mind during pivotal interactions with your child. Are you process-and-solution-focused in moments of conflict? Are you too focused on the problem at hand? Together, we will use mindsight to attune to your child and form an understanding of their internal experience through your developing skills in self-analysis and self-reflection.
Understanding Emotions

In identifying and reviewing core emotions, and distinguishing between thoughts and feelings, you will cultivate your own emotional intelligence and learn the steps to take in cultivating this within your child.
Understanding Communication
Everything we say and do is an attempt to get a need met, and this is the lens through which we are going to view your and your child's behavior. Learning the skills of non-violent communication, and building the capacity to hold space for important and impending discussions, you will become equipped with and practice the skills to have empowered conversations with your child.

Rituals and routines in your empowered parenting journey are going to be YOUR anchor. Here, we will explore rituals and routines that best suit you, your family, and put good use to all of your new interpersonal relationship skills! Together, we will additionally acknowledge, embrace, and welcome anger and discover ways to channel it into "healthy aggression".
Understanding Importance of Play
Learning your own style(s) of play as a parent is what we are looking to unveil in this session. Considering our playfulness does not need to match that of our child's to be considered play, we'll explore less obvious forms of play as a parent, and discuss it's role is connecting with your child. Given that playfulness is going to look different for everyone, we will identify styles of play that feel most natural to you.
